We’re always trying to find new and cool ways to connect players in the BattleHIts Discord gaming community, and this week’s new command is a game changer for matchmaking in the BattleHits server. With the /gg command you can search for games played in the server and see stats including members who have played it and find your personal best squad matches based on your own play history.
/gg game
Type /gg game followed by any title and you’ll get the full picture for that game on the server like total unique players, all-time session count, total playtime logged, and who played it here first. You also get a top 10 player breakdown ranked by time played, with session counts and last-played dates so you can see who’s still active. We also pull in game metadata from IGDB including genre, release year, and estimated time to beat so you get a little context alongside the server stats. It’s a great way to see what kind of community has formed around a game before you post an LFG.
/gg match
This one is our favorite. Run /gg match and Fark looks at your personal play history, finds the games you’ve put the most time into, and surfaces the other server members who share those same games. Your top matches are ranked by how many games you have in common, with total shared playtime shown alongside. If you’ve been playing solo and wondering who else on the server is into the same stuff, this is your answer. Run it, see who comes up, and then hit /lfg to actually squad up.
Both commands are live now. Type /gg in any channel to get started. You also can see all of Fark’s features and commands @ https://battlehits.net/fark.
